This review evaluates the Adobe Connect application for Android, a tool designed to facilitate remote meetings, webinars, and virtual classrooms. The app aims to bring essential meeting functionalities to mobile devices, allowing users to participate from their smartphones or tablets.

The application features a modern user interface that supports high-resolution video transmission and adapts seamlessly to both landscape and portrait orientations. It enables users to join meetings configured with Standard View or Enhanced Audio/Video Experience settings, providing flexibility based on meeting requirements.

Audio participation can be achieved through the device’s built-in microphone and speakers, a connected headset, or Bluetooth devices such as wireless earbuds. Additionally, users have the option to join teleconferences if included in the meeting setup. Video conferencing capabilities utilize the device’s cameras for sharing live video feeds. During meetings, participants can view high-quality PowerPoint presentations, whiteboards, annotations, MP4 videos, PDF documents, images, GIF animations, and shared desktop screens.

Interactive features include chat, polling (multiple-choice, multiple-answer, short answer), note reading with formatting and hyperlinks, question submission via Q&A, file downloads, link navigation through the mobile browser, and status updates such as raising hands or indicating absence from the meeting. Participants can also engage in breakout rooms that support audio, video, and chat functionalities. Support for Single Sign-On with two-factor authentication enhances security for host operations.

While comprehensive in many aspects, certain activities—such as creating Quiz pods, using closed captions, drawing on whiteboards, or note-taking—are not currently supported within the app but remain accessible via a standard mobile browser. The application is not intended for viewing recorded sessions; instead, recordings are accessible through an online browser interface.

System requirements specify Android 11.0 or higher, compatible with both phones and tablets. A Wi-Fi or sufficient mobile data connection (4G/5G) is necessary for optimal performance.
